You know when you just instantly connect with someone? I love that! (See my philosophy on that here) And from the moment I connected with Benét and Brent via phone, I knew we’d have a heck of a fun time planning their destination mountain wedding here in Colorado at the Ski Tip Lodge in Keystone. We dove right into the planning process and as it turned out, we had the best time together.

Of course by the time we ended up reaching their wedding day, it was like we were old friends getting together to celebrate their love story. (as it should be!) Everything was set and ready to go, we were all so ready for this day. Honestly, it couldn’t have been a better July day here in Keystone. And then, I saw the pictures so brilliantly captured by the talented Shane and Lauren Photography. Guys, check them out!

Benét and Brent really wanted to add those special touches to personalize their wedding day, which is what gives me the most joy since their love story and life together is unlike any others. And this wedding was their way of sharing a glimpse of their story with their closest family and friends. Get ready for these details, they seriously rock!

The bride’s brother, a talented artist, spent some time drawing cat table numbers that were representative to one of B&B’s own kitty, aren’t they perfect? Each table number was graced with a new cat scene, I died.

Brent is also a dedicated at-home beer brewer and wanted to incorporate that passion in their day as well. We weren’t able to supply their guests with his own creation due to liquor licensing, but we incorporated fresh-green hops into the greenery to give a nod to his brewing as well as Keystone’s talented baking team created chocolate truffles using some of the hops and flavors that Brent brews with. THEY WERE SO YUMMY! We placed them at each guests place setting as a favor, but then featured them as a main-stay on their mouth-watering dessert station. I could have devoured the entire table!
